Mr. John O'Donnell, Jr.

John Francis "Jack" O'Donnell., Jr, age 73, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on August 4, 2016.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John F. and Helen (nee Brodrick).
Jack retired from Hostess Cakes and worked for Sherwin Williams Painting Company. He enjoyed skying, reading, watching movies and sports, especially the Phillies and Eagles. He loved watching his boys and his grandchildren play baseball.
Jack was the beloved husband of 49 years to Ruth A. O'Donnell (nee Kortze). He was the devoted father of Brian J. (Alexandra), Scott F. (Regina), and Todd M. (Maureen) O'Donnell. He was the devoted and loving grandfather of Logan, Deirdre, Tyler, Max, Griffin, and Mallory. He is also survived by his beloved cat Quincy.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Wednesday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM and Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082 (610) 449-0300, followed by his Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to The American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street Philadelphia, PA 19103 would be appreciated.
