Lawrence J. Penrose 69, of Holmes PA, died peacefully on July 17, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Larry graduated from St. James High School class of 1961, he worked as a district manager for the Bulletin newspaper, Larry also drove truck for the Del Mar News, and the Inquirer before retiring in 2002, Larry enjoyed watching western movies, softball, bowling, playing cards, traveling, baking pies, and spending time with his family and friends, he was always there to help anyone he was the go to person to anyone in need. Larry will be missed by anyone who knew him. Larry was the beloved son of the late Francis W. and Helen Frances Penrose, brother of the late William F. Penrose. He is the beloved brother of Alice May Penrose of Fairlawn N.J., Francis E. Penrose of Cape May Court House N.J., Mary Ellen ( Quincy) Lai of Fairlawn N.J., James B. (Cheryl) Penrose of Milmont Park PA.,Theresa Ann Diehl of Springville PA., Edward C. Penrose of Boothwyn PA, Margaret M. (Philipp) Kearny of Folsom PA, Kathleen (Michael) Mikula of Phila PA. and Joseph M. (Kathy) Penrose of Holmes PA., also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to Larry's Life Celebration Services Thursday evening from 7 to 9pm and Friday morning from 830am until 1030am from the James F. Knoetgen Funeral Home of Morton 746 Kedron Ave (RT420) Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady Of Fatima 1 Fatima drive Secane PA.
