Mr. Raymond Ewald

Ewald Raymond Edward Ewald, age 86, of Springfield,PA passed away on September 27,2011. Beloved husband of 64 years to Fay Nellie Ewald(nee Richmond). Loving father of Denise Elaine Ewald Malkowicz( Bruce) of Radnor,PA and Raymond E. Ewald Jr. ( Judith A.) of West Chester, PA. Cherished grandfather of 6 . Dear brother of Albert and Donald Ewald, both deceased, and Alice Marie Hagans of Boothwyn, PA. Mr. Ewald was a United States Navy veteran , who served on the USS Baltimore in the Pacific , and later on occupational duty in Japan. He was active in the AMVETS of Morton , serving as Commander for 5 years and was active at the state level as well. He was a longtime active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish in Morton.He was employed by British Petroleum for 45 years as Maintenance Co-ordinator. Relatives and friends are invited to Raymond's Life Celebration on Fri., Sept.30 from 7 to 9 PM in James F. Knoetgen of Morton, PA, 746 Kedron Ave( Route 420), Morton, PA 19070.Mass of Christian Burial Sat. Oct. 1 at 10 AM in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave, Morton, PA 19070.
