Mr. Raymond Gillespie, Sr.

Raymond C. Gillespie, Sr. 96, of Monaca, Pa., formerly of Morton, Pa passed away on December 1, 2016. He was the beloved husband of the late Shirley E. Gillespie (nee Watson). He is also predeceased by his son Richard. Raymond served with the US Navy during WWI and was previously employed by the Philadelphia Naval Yard as an inspector. He was also a Mason and an avid sailor. Surviving Raymond are his loving sons Raymond C. Gillespie, Jr. (Bonnie) and Donald Gillespie (Lisa), grandchildren Lyndi (Matthew), Kristy (Adam), Jenny, Erin, Avery and great-grandchildren Nathan and Natalie. Family and friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday December 27, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home 746 Kedron Ave. Morton, Pa 19070 and to attend his Memorial Service at 12:30 PM.
