MacCall Robert F. MacCall 84, of Rutledge passed away at his home on June 7, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Robert was the husband of the late Mildred J. Pennell and the brother of the late Jack and Thomas MacCall. He was also predeceased by a grandson, Dale Houtz. Robert worked for Boeing in Eddystone for 36 years as an administrative assistant for the Engineering Test Labs. He was a fisherman, a photographer and a crossword puzzle aficionado. He belonged to a poker group formed in 1960 which played monthly for nearly 50 years. He was a man of many talents who will be remembered by all who met him for his quick wit, his photographic memory and his never-ending stockpile of puns. Survivors include his children Judith M. (Larry) Houtz of Lutz, FL, and James C. (Pam) Meyers of Barrington, IL, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sister Geri Hamby and brother William, both of Brookhaven, as well as several nephews and nieces. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to Robert's Life Celebration Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 9-11AM at James F. Knoetgen Funeral Home of Morton, 746 Kedron Ave. (Rt. 420), followed by his funeral service at 11AM. Interment: Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall.
