Lanza Rocco J. Lanza, 94, of Morton passed away on March 12, 2014 at Crozer Hospice in Taylor Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Rocco was the husband of the late Mary Felicetti Lanza. One brother Charles Lanza predeceased him. Rocco was born in Phila and raised by his grandparents after his mothers death. He then joined the US Army where he served in France during WWII. It was there that he was wounded and received a Purple Heart. Rocco was a strong and generous person to all that new him. He loved to share stories about his time in the service with family and friends. His loving daughter Mary Ann took care of him after his beloved wife Mary passed in 2001. He will be missed by all especially his grandchildren and his great grandchildren who called him "Pop-pop-Rocky". Survivors: His daughter Mary Ann and her husband Edward Chapman of Morton, Grandchildren Kevin (Suzanne) and Craig (Amy). Great grandfather of Morgan, Madison and Konner. Uncle to Michael Lanza. Followed by his Funeral Mass at 10AM.
