Mrs. Catherine Cavanaugh

Catherine Cavanaugh (nee Holden), age 91, of Newtown Square, PA passed away on August 5, 2017. Born in Darby, PA she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Catherine (nee Nolan) Holden.
Catherine was the beloved wife of the late William Cavanaugh; loving mother of Michael J. Cavanaugh (Linda) and the late William J. "Billy" Cavanaugh Jr.; devoted grandmother of Adam (Alisa), Chad, and David; and dear great-grandmother of Annastasia and Lucas. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Catherine was predeceased by her brothers James and Edward Holden.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Internment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Catherine's memory may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 5300 Chester Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19143.
