Mrs. Eleanor Maturo

Maturo Eleanor M. Maturo (nee DiPietro), age 96 of Prospect Park, PA passed away on April 20, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Vito Maturo. Loving mother of Frank (Shirley) of Swarthmore, PA, Louis (Diane) of Springfield ,PA Vito (Carol) of Norwood, PA, , Robert (Antoinette) of Morton,PA Joseph (Janice) of Drexel Hill, PA and Cynthia Matteo of Cape Coral, FL. Devoted grandmother of 19 , great-grandmother of 16. Mrs. Maturo was born in South Philadelphia and was a 60 year resident of Southwest Philadelphia, PA. She loved taking care of her family and their home. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed feeding the entire family. She was loved dearly and will be missed greatly by all of her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Eleanor's Life Celebration on Saturday April 26, 2014 from 9 to 10 AM in James F. Knoetgen of Morton, PA, 746 Kedron Ave (Route 420), and to her Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave., Morton, PA 19070.
