Mrs. Elsie Lion

Lion Elsie A. Lion , age 98, of Little Flower Manor , and formerly of Collingdale, PA, passed away on March 23,2014. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Lion. Loving mother of Maryanne(Jack) Hoagland of Wallingford, PA, Michael J. (Kathleen) Lion of Lansdowne, PA. Devoted grandmother of Jack(Susan), Michele, and Jeff Hoagland, and Scott and Kerianne Lion. Great-grandmother of J.T. and Jake . Elsie was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Parish in Collingdale, PA. She enjoyed crocheting and Bingo. She was active in Collingdale Senior Citizens for a number of years. Most of all, Elsie loved her family. Relatives and friends are invited to Elsie's Life Celebration on Thursday evening from 7 to 8 PM in James F. Knoetgen of Morton, PA, 746 Kedron Ave,(Route 420) . Funeral service to follow at 8 PM. Interment in Beverly National Cemetery, Friday, March 28 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers a donation in Elsie's name may be made to Little Flower Manor, 1201 Springfield Rd, Darby, PA 19023.
