Christy Florence G. (nee Smith-Fisler) 89, of Swarthmore went home to God on May 15, 2014. Beloved wife of the late George G. Fisler and John W. Christy. Loving mother of George Fisler (dec.), Deborah A. (Anthony) Frangelli of Prospect Park, and Suzanne Fisler (Mitch) Blatstein of Meadowbrook, PA. Caring grandmother of Dominic (Tara), Jennifer (Eric), Anthony (Gina), Rebecca (Rob), Jeremy and Gabriel. Great grandmother of 9. "Aunt Sissy" of numerous nieces and nephews. Doting owner of her cat, Baby. Predeceased by 20 siblings. Florence was an active member and volunteer of the Schoolhouse Senior Center for 36 years and a member of Notre Dame de Lourdes Church. Florence was a strong, independent and loving woman who loved her family, long walks and various crafting activities. Relatives and friends are invited to Florence's Life Celebration Wednesday May 21, 2014, 10-11:15AM at James F. Knoetgen of Morton, 746 Kedron Ave (Rt. 420) followed by her Funeral Mass 12PM at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church. Fairview & Michigan Ave's Swarthmore, PA. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon.
