Mrs Helen Bustin

Helen Bustin, age 89, of Glenolden, PA and formerly of Ridley Park, PA passed away on December 11, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Paul J. Bustin. Loving mother of Madeline (Francis ) Dougherty, Jean (Harry) Diener, James (Karen), Christine(Daniel) Fagan, Thomas (Lisa), John (Linda ), and Edward (Teresa), and step-son Earl "Spud" Clark (Marie). Helen was a devoted grandmom of 22 and a great-grandmom of 22. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Roche, brothers John , Joseph, Francis, Raymond, and Robert, sisters Elizabeth Suydam, Margaret Renshaw, Agnes Mauro, and Marie De Paul and grandchildren Katelyn and James Bustin. Helen was born in Morton, PA and attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help School then Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA, where she enjoyed playing sports. She worked as a voter registrar for 30 years in Delaware County. Helen was very involved in the Ridley Park Fire Company's Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, camping, going to the Shore, and bowling. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Helen's life on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in Knoetgen/Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Ave.(Route 420), Morton, PA 19070. Funeral Mass to follow at 11 AM in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave., Morton, PA 19070. Interment will be at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation of a new, unwrapped toy may be brought to Knoetgen/Donohue Funeral Home for the Toys for Tots program in our area to celebrate Helen's love of children.
