Joan T. Sherwood, 87, of Bryn Mawr, PA, formerly of Avalon, NJ and Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on March 25, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA Joan was the daughter of the late John and Rosemary (nee Murray) Tegler.
Joan is survived by her spouse William R. Sherwood, Sr. She is survived by her children Susan (The Late Thomas, III) Willson, John (Dianne) Sherwood, William (Sharon) Sherwood Jr., and Mark (Margie) Sherwood, Sr. Joan is also survived by her grandchildren Amy, Thomas IV, Joshua, Jason, Brian, Kevin, Shelly, Daniel, Jasen, William III, Adam, Robert, Matthew, Mark, Jr., Michael, Megan and Mary. Also survived by her great grandchildren Elizabeth, Anthony, Liam, Seamus, Ciaran, Bennett, Caroline, Mia, William IV, Caleigh, Baylie and by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, March 30, 8:30 AM to 10:15 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082 followed by her funeral Mass 11:00 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
