Mrs Kathleen McCartney

Kathleen McCartney (nee Schell) age 82 of Newtown Square, PA passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Mrs. McCartney was predeceased by her husband Joseph John McCartney. Kathleen's greatest love was for her children, Kathleen McCartney, Kelly (Dave) Anthony, Maureen McCartney, Joanne (James) Lawrence, Kevin (Kathy) McCartney, and Daniel McCartney and 7 grandchildren whom she spent Sunday night dinners with catching up on current events.
Kathleen worked as a Bookkeeper until 2001 when she retired and volunteered her time at the Birthright non-profit organization, which provided love and support for women facing unplanned pregnancies. She also loved spending time with her friends during adoration at S.S. Simon and Jude Church and with her friends outside of her church.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday 9:00-10:30 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA and to her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM Church of S.S. Simon and Jude, 6 Cavanaugh CT., West Chester, PA. Internment St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, PA.
