Mrs. Madeline Fiorelli

January 26, 1924 — September 7, 2016

Madeline M. Fiorelli Madeline Maurelli (Maddie) born on 1/26/24 in Philadelphia was 92 when she passed 9/7/16 from respiratory failure/pneumonia. She was married to Andrew Fiorelli 9/11/48 until his passing. She is survived by her two sisters Rose & Connie, her children Joe & Steve, five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She lived in PA, FL and CA (too many locations to list---I helped her move at least 8 times!). Madeline graduated from South Philadelphia HS in 1941 and went on to obtain a certificate in bookkeeping in 1942. She worked for the Quartermaster during WW2 and retired from EXIDE (Electric Storage Battery Company) in 1983 where she was Chief Cashier for many years. She volunteered at the Casa Grande retirement home and served on the board of the Briar Patch Condominiums as treasurer. She built a grand father's clock and a curio cabinet by hand on" the weekends" and wallpapered both of her homes. She enjoyed square dancing, arts and crafts, knitting, world travel, music (played piano & organ), ceramics, and gardening. She was a graduate of San Diego School for the blind and a participant in the PACE program at St Paul's in San Diego. She made many friends wherever she went. We will miss her laughter; witty banter and broad smile RIP. Bye Maddie! JF" Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Friday 9:30 AM- 10:20AM at Our Lady of Fatima, 1 Fatima Drive, Clifton Heights, PA 19018 followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. Interment will be at Fernwood Cemetery, 6501 Baltimore Ave, Lansdowne, PA 19050. Arr. by The Knoegten- Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Avenue, Morton, PA 19070.
