Mrs. Margaret Canavan

Margaret Mary Canavan (nee Sheehan), 91, of Newtown Square, PA and formerly of Tewksbury, MA passed away on March 4, 2016.
Born in Manchester, NH in 1924, Mary was the daughter of the late Peter and Bridget (Barry) Sheehan.
Mary worked in accounting at Dunwoody Village in Newtown Square, PA for almost 40 years. She was a member of St. John Neumann Parish and enjoyed spending her time with her family.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Canavan; loving mother of Mary Jo Ashton of Bryn Mawr, PA, Patricia Beam of Devon, PA, Nancy Morrison of Chadds Ford, PA, Joseph Canavan of Berwyn, PA, Patrick Canavan of Berwyn, PA, Joanne Atkinson of Phoenixville, PA, and John Canavan of Dallas, TX; dear grandmother of David and Patrick.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 5:30-7:30 PM Tuesday, March 8th at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown, Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300 and 9:30-10:30 AM Wednesday at St. John Neumann Church, Radnor Rd. & Highland Ave, Bryn Mawr, PA, followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Dunwoody Village Employee Appreciation Fund, 3500 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073.
