Mrs. Margaret Coffey
June 11, 1923 — January 26, 2018
Margaret P. Coffey (nee Allaband), age 94, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on January 26, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Helen Allaband (nee McGovern).
Margaret was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia, PA. She had been employed as a secretary for Dun & Bradstreet. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Bridge and Pinochle.
Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward A. Coffey and her loving son Thomas E. Coffey. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Thursday, February 1, 2018 10:00-11:00 AM St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the United Cerebral Palsy Association, 102 E. Mermaid Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19118, would be appreciated.
