Mrs. Margaret Jordan

Jordan Margaret "Maggie" Ruth Jordan (nee Ellis), 82 a long time Morton resident died peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2011. Maggie worked for 36 years as a floor supervisor at the Seltzer Company. After retiring Maggie became an aid for the Ridley Township School District, nurturing those who needed assistance. Maggie very much loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Maggie loved sports and never missed any of their sporting events. She was there biggest fan and held family above all else with bottomless love. To anyone who met her she was known as "Nan". Maggie was a member of The Del Hi Grotto and a devoted member of the Immanuel Lutheran Christ Church of Norwood. Maggie was the beloved daughter of the late Charles Oliver Ellis and Lydia Pearl Pierce Ellis, and sister of the late Leroy Ellis and Gene Supplee. Loving mother of Lydia Ruth Jordan of Chesapeake City, Maryland, and Jerry Charles (Janine) Jordan of Morton, Pennsylvania. Grandmother of Mark Powell, Jordan "Jay" (Nicole) Powell, Jenna Leigh Jordan, John Clark Jordan and JamieLyn Clark Jordan. Great Grandmother of Stephen Gabriel Fisher, Ava Jordan Powell and Jake Thomas Powell. Family and friends are invited to Maggie's Life Celebration on Friday, December 9th, where family and friends may call from 7 to 9pm and Saturday from 9 to10am followed by Maggie's service at 10 am. from the James F.
