Mrs. Marguerite Falco

Marguerite Rose Falco (nee Fizzano), age 94, of Thorton, PA passed away March 20, 2012. Beloved wife of the late John H. Falco. Loving mother of Nina (Jim) Butler of Springfield, PA, Phyllis Cunniffe of Ormond Beach, FL, Margie (Frank) Giordano of Tampa, FL, and Nancy (John) Melasecca of Thorton, PA , whom she lived with for 24 years. Dear sister of Pete Fizzano of Ridley Park, PA and the late Marie Black, Rocky Fizzano, and Nicky Fizzano. Cherished grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 17. Mrs. Falco was born to the late Rocco and Philomena (nee Marzulla) Fizzano in Crum Lynne, PA. She owned and operated Johnny's Market on Holland St. in Crum Lynne with her husband. Marguerite was a lucky lottery player and ran the lottery machine at her brother's'deli,Rocky's Deli, for many years, where she also inherited her nickname.But her devotion to her family, whom she loved and cherished, was her most important job,she was always the caregiver. Marguerite was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish and she held a special devotion to the Blessed Mother. She also loved her Phillies, going to the casinos, ,and cooking Sunday dinners. Relatives and friends are invited to Marguerite's Life Celebration on Monday, March 26, 2012 from 8:30 to 10 AM in James F. Knoetgen, 746 Kedron Ave., Morton ,PA 19070. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone,PA 19022. Interment St. Michael's Cemetery.
