Mrs. Mary Crowell

Crowell Mary M. Nash Crowell, 79, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on October 17, 2012 at Taylor Hospice Residence. Mary was the wife of Robert Crowell of Morton and the mother of the late John Anthony Crowell. Two brothers John and Patrick Nash predeceased her. Mary was a very active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Morton, where she was involved with Project Hope. She had a beautiful voice so it was only natural that she was also a member of their choir and other choirs in the area. Mary was a very talented artist specializing in watercolor painting. Sewing was a passion of hers so much so that she became a very talented seamstress and also was a member of the Red-Hat Woman's Club. She had a smile that could light up a room and a sense of humor to match. Along with her husband, Mary is survived by her children Diane E. DeLuca of Worton, MD, Lynda M. Byrd of Daniel Island, SC, R. Alan Crowell of Lafayette, CO and William Crowell of West Chester. Grandchildren Daniel, Evan, Kieran, Finn, Emma, Megan and great grandson Dylan. Sisters Edna Maddocks of Hudson MA, Dorothy Cormier of Fitchburg, MA, Jane Philbin of Leominster, MA. Brother James Nash of Fitchburg, MA and sister in-law Jeanne Nash of Yarmouth, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to Mary's Life Celebration on Monday, October 22, 2012, 10-11AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave, Morton, PA 19070.
