Mrs. Mary Harkins

Mary M. Harkins (nee Alimonti), 94, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on December 19, 2017.



Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1923, Mary was the daughter of the late Michael and Concetta Alimonti (nee Taraborelli). Mary was employed at GSB and she worked in the cafeteria. Before she was employed there, she worked for the railroad.



Mary is survived by her beloved husband Edward Harkins, her loving son Thomas J. Harkins, and her dear sister Antoinette Dougherty. Mary was predeceased by her son Edward T. Harkins Jr., her sister Lucy Dougherty, and her brother Jerry Alimonti.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
