Mrs. Patricia Warfel

Warfel Patricia B. Zambrano Warfel "Trish", 75, of Aldan passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 07, 2012. She was the wife of the late Robert F. Warfel. Loving daughter of the late Alfonso and Yola Mancini Zambrano. Patricia was a member of St Joseph R.C. Church in Collingdale. She was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls. Trish was first and for most a beloved mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, embroidery, family vacations at the Jersey Shore and playing cards. She was a member of a monthly card club along with five childhood friends for over 55 years. Prior to marriage, Mrs. Warfel worked for Acme Markets corporate offices in Center City. Once her children were all in school, she returned to work, first as a cashier at the former Bazaar of All Nations, then for over 20 years as a pharmacy assistant at Beckett Apothecary in Sharon Hill and most recently as a much loved receptionist for the Augustinian Monastery at Villanova University. Survivors: Her children Robert A. Warfel of Aldan, Lynn Marie (Philip) Walsh of Aldan and Beth Anne (Craig) Huggins of Collingdale, six grandchildren Justin, Patrick, Stephen, Daniel, Kaitlyn and Emma, one sister Roberta V. Zambrano of Aldan. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to Trish's Life Celebration Sunday eve 7-9PM at James F. Knoetgen of Morton, 746 Kedron Ave, (Rt 420) and Monday Morning 9:30-10:30AM at Saint Joseph R.C. Church, Bartram & Woodlawn Aves, Collingdale, PA 19023 followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM Interment: Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
