Mrs. Rose Kartachak

Kartachak Rose Kartachak (nee Wolensky), 86, of Swarthmore PA. past away peacefully at home after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease on November 29,2012 surrounded by her loving family. Rose worked as a Librarian for 25 years at Widener College, before retiring. She treasured the time she spent with her family especially her grandchildren. Rose was the beloved daughter of the late Stephen and Rose Wolensky (nee Slohyniak). Sister of the late Pauline Micklo, Helen Cashman, Nicholas, Paul, Stephen, Leonard, and John Wolensky. Rose is the beloved wife of Thomas Kartachak of 63 years. Loving mother of Thomas S. (Pamela) Kartachak, David J. (Lydia) Kartachak, and Donna (Dale) Kartachak. Sister of Richard and Bernie Wolensky, and Dorothy Jamula. Rose is also survived by 4 loving grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to Rose's life Celebration on Saturday December 8th viewing will begin at 10am at Notre Dame DeLourdes Church Michigan Ave & Fairview Rd. Swarthmore PA. followed by Rose's Funeral Mass at 11am.
