Teresa M. Gavin (nee McDermott), age 89, of Havertown, PA, passed away on November 19, 2016.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Anne (nee Dillon) McDermott.
She was the beloved wife of the late William F. Gavin; loving mother of William F. (Therese) Gavin, Jr., Anne (John) Trainor, Rita (William) Henderson, Teresa Gavin, Gerard (Janice) Gavin; dear sister of Rita Rowe, Margaret McDermott-Miller, the late Gerard McDermott, John McDermott, William McDermott, Marcella Maire, Patricia Mulholland, Dorothy McDermott, and Thomas McDermott. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Wednesday 8:30-10:00 AM at 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Taylor Hospice, 300 Johnson Ave, Ridley Park, PA 19078.
