Mr. Walter Rodgers, Sr.

Walter Stewart Rodgers, Sr. 88 of Holmes. Passed away on July 19, 2011 at Broomall Presbyterian Village. Walter was the husband of the late Katherine Lutter Rodgers. One sister Mary Millinghausen predeceased him. Walter was the choir director for many years at Holmes Presbyterian Church and also was a soloist for Upland Baptist Church and other churches in the area. Survivors: Walter is survived by his children Carol (Karl) Burghardt of Coopersburg, PA, Jane Smart of Woodlyn and Walter S. (Susan) Rodgers, Jr. of Drexel Hill, five grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother Robert Rodgers, Jr. and sister Caroline Anthony. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to Walters Life Celebration Saturday, July 23, 2011, 9-10AM at Holmes Presbyterian Church, Holmes Rd & Academy Ave, Holmes, PA 19043. Followed by his funeral Service at 10AM. Interment: George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting PA.
