Nancy Curtis Duzy, age 91, of Bryn Mawr, PA, passed away on March 21, 2016.
Nancy was born in Orange, NJ, attended Cape May High School and graduated from Chestnut Hill College in 1946. She worked at LaSalle College, where she met her husband Michael A. Duzy in 1952, who was President at the time. They later married in 1957.
Nancy was a member of Overbrook Golf Club for 51 years. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and was an avid reader.
Nancy was related to St. Katharine Drexel and had the honor of attending her canonization by Pope John Paul II in Rome on October 1, 2000.
Nancy, beloved wife of the late Michael A. Duzy, was predeceased by her brother George Stephen Curtis, Jr. and her twin sister Betty Curtis. She is survived by her children Michele Forsyth (Kyle), Stephanie Duzy, Lizanne Duzy, Michael (Helen) Duzy and John (Shannon) Duzy, her grandchildren Courtney Forsyth (fiancé Tim FitzPatrick), Kyle Forsyth, Micaela Forsyth, Caitlyn Duzy, Madeline Duzy, Sloane Duzy and Reagan Duzy.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Wednesday, April 6, 2016 9:30 AM-10:25 AM St. John Neumann Church, 380 Highland Avenue, Bryn Mawr, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament (founded by St. Katharine Drexel), 1663 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020-5796 would be appreciated.
