Nancy L. Gallagher

Nancy L. Gallagher (nee Kelly), age 81, of Ridley Park, PA passed away on July 30, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy Kelly (nee Russell).

Nancy's career as a Lead Bank Teller was only a glimpse into her hardworking nature and commitment to excellence. Her colleagues remember her as someone who not only excelled in her professional endeavors but also uplifted those around her with her positive spirit.

Outside of work, Nancy found joy in simple pleasures like spending time at Wildwood Crest, traveling to new places, and cherished moments on cruises. However, above all else, her true happiness stemmed from being surrounded by her beloved family. Nancy's unwavering love for her family knew no bounds, and she treasured every moment spent in their presence.

Nancy was the beloved wife of the late John J. Gallagher; loving mother of Marie Gallagher, Nancy Kovach, and James Larkin (Megan); adoring grandmother of Jennifer Larkin, Thomas Gallagher Jr., James Gallagher, Christopher Larkin, Erin Larkin, Maggie Larkin, Moria Larkin, and the late Emma Kovach; caring sister of Elaine Borton, Virginia McNamara, and the late JoAnne Kelly. Nancy gained a new extended family in the Gallagher’s – Carol (Bob), John (Maria), Theresa (the late John Murray), Mark, Maureen (Bill), Tom, Patty (the late Steve Henry), and Charles (Jim).

Relatives and friends are invited to Nancy’s Viewing 10:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 6th at St. Madeline Church, 110 Park St., Ridley Park, PA 19078, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
