Nancy A. Leaf, 64, of West Chester, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at Paoli Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Estelle Hilliard Leaf.
Nancy was a 1972 graduate of Haverford Township High School.
After high school, she went on to become a realtor and pursue a career in the real estate business, where she was very successful.
For the past 19 years she was employed by the Chester County Assessment Office where she was a real estate appraiser.
Nancy absolutely loved her job with the County and thoroughly enjoyed navigating her way around Chester County.
She could provide you with the best directions on how to get anywhere in the area.
Years ago, Nancy could be found on the ball field playing a competitive game of softball with friends or behind her camera lens snapping amazing pictures of places she had traveled to.
She enjoyed hosting and entertaining her family and friends for barbeques, parties and holidays.
She was also a member and officer of the Business & Professional Women of Pennsylvania (BPW) for many years.
Nancy was a loyal friend to many people. She displayed a very strong work ethic and had a great sense of humor even in her final days.
She faced every challenge in her life head on and was determined to never give up.
She will certainly be missed.
She is survived by her nephew; George Saienni and his wife Margaret of West Grove, PA, two nieces; Mary Dodson and her husband Dan of Elizabethtown, KY and Ann Caruso of West Grove, PA; four great-nephews/nieces; Ashley and Andrew Saienni, Domnick Holcombe and Abigail Caruso.
She was predeceased by her only sister, Jane Saienni.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 610-431-9000 followed by her Celebration of Life 11:00 AM. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
