Nancy V. Milano, born June the 9th, 1926, of Havertown, PA, peacefully passed away at the age of 98. She was the beloved wife of the late Vic B. Milano and devoted mother of her late daughter, April Ann Cardarelli (Raymond R. Cardarelli), and her son, Rick V. Milano (Dana L. Milano). Nancy was a cherished grandmother to Brooke Huff (née Cardarelli, married to James), Brett Cardarelli (Rebecca née Ward), Kerry Wynne (née Cardarelli, married to Hugh), Michael R. Milano, Riana Cassidy (née Milano, married to Joseph), and Vanessa Walsh (née Milano, married to Gregory). She was also a proud and loving great-grandmother to Therese and Evan Huff, Addison, Taylor, and Blake Cardarelli, and Jocco, Jett, and Jagger Cassidy.
Nancy grew up in Philadelphia and was raised solely by her mother, Betty Semple who Nancy described as beautiful, generous and someone who always made Christmas special. She was a devoted housewife, creating a warm and loving home for her family. Alongside her daughter, April, Nancy shared her creative spirit by teaching ceramics in their basement. Later in life, she dedicated 35 years to Rick Milano Auto Repair, where she served as the secretary and head accountant, becoming an integral part of the family business.
In her free time, Nancy enjoyed shopping, especially when it was with her daughter and grandchildren. She had a passion for decorating her home and took great pleasure in hosting parties for family and friends throughout the year. While not professionally trained, Nancy became famous for her sausage scaloppini and her spaghetti sauce that she tinkered with over the years. Nancy also found joy in gardening and cherished the time she spent babysitting her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Nancy lived a long and fulfilling life by following her own simple rules: enjoy your favorite foods (hoagies and drive-thru were her go-to's), indulge in your favorite drinks (especially Manhattans and coffee), spend your summers down the shore, and always stay active. Music was a constant in her home, and we're sure she's now dancing to Frank or Tony in the arms of her husband.
Relatives and friends are invited to Nancy’s viewing on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM followed by her funeral service at 11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA. Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
