Nancy M. Smith (nee Meckley), 78, of West Chester, passed away November 6, 2018.
Born June 11, 1940 in West Chester, PA, she was a daughter of the late Walter Henry and Pauline (nee Glackin) Meckley.
Nancy was a graduate of Henderson High School. She worked as a secretary at Schramm, Inc, as a librarian at the West Chester School District, and retired after 20 years, as an Officer for Domestic Relations. She was an avid reader, an accomplished sewer and knitter, and loved country western music and line dancing.
She was the beloved wife of the late Clyde A. Smith; loving mother of Jean L. Blessing, Joseph C. Smith, and Jill M. Smith; adoring grandmother of Alicia; devoted great-grandmother of Trinity and Serenity; and dear sister of Pauline Toomey, Walter H. Meckley, and William Meckley. She was predeceased by her beloved dog, Wiggles.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10 to 11 AM Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by her Prayer Service at 11 AM. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery.
