Nancy M. Tumini

Nancy M. Tumini, age 89, of Media, PA, passed away on March 8, 2025. Born in South Philadelphia, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Victor and Jennie Tumini (nee Gallo).

Nancy dedicated a significant portion of her life to her profession as an executive secretary for the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union, where her contributions to the labor movement underscored her unwavering commitment to the welfare of workers and their rights. Her role was not merely one of duty, but a reflection of her deep-seated values and the respect she held for the dignity of all individuals.

Outside her career, Nancy was a beacon of warmth and companionship. She relished the moments spent in the embrace of her loved ones, finding joy in the simplest pleasures of life. Her ability to foster relationships and create lasting memories stood as a testament to her character; she was a perennial source of support, laughter, and love for those fortunate enough to know her.

Nancy is survived by many loving cousins and people that cared for her.

Family and friends are invited to Nancy’s Viewing 9:30-10:30 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chapel, 2130 Franklin Ave, Morton, PA 19070, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
