Nelson Dean Bowser

Nelson Dean Bowser, 89, of Perkiomenville, PA, passed away on August 10, 2022.  

Born in Ford City, PA in 1932, he was the son of the late Millard J. and Thelma Valetta (nee Dowling) Bowser.  Dean was a proud graduate of Ford City High School and Grove City College.  He met the love of his life, Charlotte, in college and they shared 60 years of marriage.  Dean served honorably in the US Army during the Korean Conflict in occupied Japan.  Dean began his professional career as a salesman for Ortho.  Dedicated to the craft of sales, he retired as National Sales Trainer for Roche Diagnostics. Dean was active in Boy Scouts of America. He held many volunteer positions within the  Chester County Council  including Cub Master of Pack 152 and Assistant ScoutMaster of Troop 52.  

Dean was the beloved husband of the late Charlotte (nee Krasley) Bowser; loving father of Christopher D. Bowser (Kathleen), Nelson Paul Bowser (Lisa), Stephen B. Bowser, Marshal T Bowser, deceased (Penny); caring grandfather of Marshall T. Bowser II, Tyler Bowser, Danielle Bowser, Nelson A. Bowser, Ian Bowser, Kevin Bowser, Jack Bowser, and Bridget Bowser and great-grandfather of 6; also survived by his sister, Betty; predeceased by his siblings, Patty and George.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service 11 am August 20, 2022 at Marshallton United Methodist Church, 1282 W. Strasburg Road, West Chester, PA  19382.  Interment immediately following at Bradford Cemetery.
