Nga Thi Pham

Nga Thi Pham, age 78, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on December 2, 2024. Born in Vietnam, she was the daughter of the late Thong Hanh Pham and Nam Thi Nguyen.

From her early years as a teacher in Vietnam, Nga exemplified a profound commitment to education and child development, grounding her life's work in the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. She later transitioned to a role as a school counselor, where her nurturing spirit flourished. She approached each day with kindness and understanding, working tirelessly to support students in their emotional and academic journeys. Her dedication was a beacon of hope and guidance for countless young individuals, who will forever remember her compassion and unwavering support.

A devout Buddhist, Nga was deeply involved in her temple and community, reflecting her belief in service to others. Her humanitarian efforts extended beyond her professional commitments, as she devoted much of her time to helping those in need. This devotion not only defined her character but also inspired those around her to act with similar grace and generosity.

Nga's love for her children was boundless. As a fantastic mom, she worked tirelessly for their education and well-being, embodying the spirit of sacrifice and devotion. Her legacy is one of love, perseverance, and an unyielding commitment to family. She instilled in her children the values of empathy, resilience, and the importance of working hard to achieve one's dreams.

Nga was the beloved wife of Thai Thieu; loving mother of Minh Thieu and Khanh Thieu; adoring grandmother of Andrew, Gavin, Alexander, Olivia, and Audrey; caring sister of Thai Hanh Pham, Duyen Thi Pham, and the late Hoa Xuan Pham.

Relatives and friends are invited to Nga’s Viewing 4:00-6:00 PM on Friday, December 6, 2024, followed by her Funeral Service 2:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Interment Private.
