Nicholas Azzara, age 92, of Media, PA, and formerly of East Brunswidk, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2018.
Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ann (nee Carlotta) Azzara.
Nicholas served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy in World War II in the Japanese Theater.
Nicholas enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, dancing and playing cards.
He loved the ocean and the beach and delighted in traveling in his younger years.
Nicholas was the beloved husband of Ann (nee Battaglia) Azzara; the loving father of Jamie Malloy (Michael) and the late Robert D. Azzara; the proud grandfather of Christofer Malloy (Alexandra), Nicholas Malloy, Michael Malloy and Cara Malloy, and great-grandfather of Mason Malloy.
He is the dear brother of Salvatore, Anthony, the late Charles, the late Frances, Rose, Margaret, Antoinette, and Theresa.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Monday, August 27, 2018
