Norine Jarrett (née McHugh), 89, of Newtown Square, PA passed away on April 14, 2017.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1927, Norine was the beloved daughter of the late John and Katherine (née Nickels) McHugh.
She was the business owner of a Children's Clothing Store in Newtown Square, PA.
She was the beloved wife of the late George J. Jarrett, Jr.; loving mother of Norine Kapalka (Bob) and Dianne Goddard (Bill); devoted grandmother of Lauren, Kristen, Danielle, Brian and Matthew; dear sister of Josephine Milligan (Edmund), the late Gertrude Shaughnessy and the late John McHugh. She is also survived by many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 7:00-9:00 PM Wednesday and 9:00-10:00 AM Thursday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA, 610-431-9000 followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA. Int. SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the American Heart Association, 1617 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
The family will have a book present at the Viewing in which they would like family and friends to share their fondly remembered stories of Norine. You can either bring a pre-written story or take some time at the viewing to write it out. If you plan to attend her services, please consider wearing leopard accents in honor of our Mom.
