Norman Jay

Norman Allan Jay, age 64, of Wayne, PA, formerly of Allen Park, MI, passed away on March 7, 2017. Born in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Ethel P. Jay (nee Tyrna).



Norman received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. He was employed with General Motors for 44 years. During his first 25 years of employment, he worked in the Cadillac Division of General Motors.



Norman was a member of the UMLY Swim Team Parent Association and a member of Martin's Dam Swim Club.



Norman is survived by his beloved wife, Leslie J. Jay (nee Sweeney), his sons Brian Allan and Kevin Joseph Jay, his siblings Gerald Jay, Georgiana Asteriou and Roger Jay (Nancy) and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews.

Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA (610) 989-9600 and Monday, March 13, 2017 9:30-11:00 AM St. Katharine of Siena Church, Lancaster and Aberdeen Avenue, Wayne, PA followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.



In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, 925 Chestnut Street, Suite 220-A, Philadelphia, PA 19107 would be appreciated.
