Orian Horne

Orian Francis "Bud" Horne, age 79, of Essington, PA, passed away on December 13, 2017. He was the son of the late Alvah R. and Priscilla May Horne (nee Miley) Horne and the brother of the late Alvah, William and Alice. Bud worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator for Edward McGinn Company. He enjoyed collecting pocket watches, listening to country music, watching western movies, political shows, Eagles football and going pheasant hunting. He loved good food, good snuff, going to Lehman's Tavern and Mel's Diner. Bud is survived by his beloved son, David, his sisters, Mildred, Mary Jane and Janice; special nephew Roy Faries who was also his caregiver, his former spouse Evelyn Horne and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to his visitation Tuesday, December 19, 2017 10:00-11:00 AM at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Avenue, Morton, PA and to his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA.
