Parmenio "Parmi" Sanchez, 95, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Brewster, NY, passed away on November 30, 2016.
Born in 1921 in Chia, Colombia, he was the son of the late Padro Ignacio and Clementina (nee Jimenez) Sanchez. Parmenio attended Comunidad Padre Claretianos Seminary in Colombia for 9 years.
He was the beloved husband of Marina (nee Garcia) Sanchez; loving father of Olga Patricia Sanchez Saltveit (Mark S.), Henry Sanchez (Alison Daddona), and MaryAnne Sanchez Troy (Steven M.); loving grandfather of Marcus Joseph Troy, Lauren Marina Troy, Elizabeth Ann Kirch, Anna Casserly Saltveit, and Rose Kordahl Saltveit; predeceased by his siblings Jorge Enrique Sanchez, Pedro Ignacio Sanchez, and Leonor Sanchez de Harker.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Mass 10:30 AM Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
