Patricia E. Bergin

Patricia Eleanor Bergin, 87, of Exton, PA, passed away November 15, 2023.

Patricia joins her beloved husband Thomas Michael Bergin in heaven, who passed away 6 years ago on November 20, 2017.

Born July 31, 1936 in Atlantic City, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor (nee Rossman) Roedel.

Patricia was a graduate of Atlantic City High School and a beauty pageant contestant when she met her husband Tom, who was on leave from the Marine Corps.

After getting 3 kids off to college, Patricia began a 30 year career as an Office Administrator, beginning with the United Way, and eventually running offices in the Health Care and Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation industries.

Patricia loved animals and had many cats and dogs throughout her life.  Her favorite is the Golden Retriever!  She also loved watching Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune with her family.

Patricia is survived by her 3 children Kellianne Bergin, John F. Bergin, and Thomas M. Bergin, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM, Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay Street, West Chester, PA 19380, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Patricia’s favorite Charity, the Purple Heart Foundation, P.O. Box 49, Annandale, VA 22003.  Patricia’s father received the Purple Heart for injuries sustained in North Africa in 1942.
