Patricia Colvin

Patricia H. "Pat" Colvin (Helfrich), 76, of West Chester, PA passed away on November 25, 2018 after a year-long battle with cancer.
She endured this past year with dignity and grace and demonstrated her fighting spirit while being surrounded by the love and support of family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband Charles D. Colvin, devoted daughter and son Nicole DeWoolfson Muller and Randy DeWoolfson, and loving grandchildren Emily DeWoolfson, Ashley DeWoolfson, Kinder DeWoolfson, Sara Muller and Ryan Muller.
Her loving family includes step-children Bradley and Christy Colvin, and Brian and Cindy Colvin along with their children Jason, Brandon and Brittany.
She is the daughter of the late Wilton and Kathleen (Kinder) Helfrich and sister of the late Carol Ann Webb.
Pat was dearly loved by so many for her caring soul, so full of life and laughter, and always unselfishly giving of herself to help others.
Above all she loved her family and wonderful friendships that brought such joy to her life.
The angels will delight in her kindness and in her creativity.
Pat was passionate about music, art, and writing and has left a legacy of songs she has written, songs played on the piano, beautiful paintings, and poems she has penned.
Many of us were blessed with these gifts as a demonstration of her love to family and friends.
She graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1960 and attended Drexel University majoring in home economics and fashion design.
The highlights of her career were helping others at the Rape Crisis Council, Bellingham Retirement Community, and MBB Helicopter, all in West Chester.
Family and friends are invited to her memorial service at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Grove United Methodist Church, 490 W. Boot Road, West Chester, PA. Interment will immediately follow at Edgewood Memorial Gardens, Glen Mills, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcome to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
