Patricia McDevit

Patricia A. McDevitt (nee Nolan) of Lake Naomi, Pocono Pines, formerly of Somerset, NJ passed away on May 9, 2013 at her residence. Born in the Bronx section of New York City, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Genevieve Nolan (nee Andersen). Patricia was a graduate of Dunbarton College in Washington, DC.



She was an owner/broker for Century 21, Somerset, NJ and formerly worked as a travel manager for British Petroleum.



Patricia held memberships in Questers (a National Women's organization), the Real Estate Referral Association, Pace Setters of Lake Naomi and Timber Trails, the Historical Society of Tobyhanna Township and volunteered at the Clymer Library in Pocono Pines.



She is survived by her husband Lt. Cdr. (retired) Frank McDevitt, her children Anne Marie McDevitt of Milwaukee, WI, Maureen J. Jensen of Marquette, MI, John F. McDevitt of Matawan, NJ, Shelia L. Speckin of Saco, ME, Paul K. McDevitt of Lawrenceville, NJ and Elise J. McDevitt of Winthrop, MA and her 9 grandchildren.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 5:00-6:00 PM St. Maximilian Kolbe Church (formerly known as Our Lady of the Lake Church), Old 940, Pocono Pines followed by her Funeral Mass at 6:00 PM. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.



In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 5112 Pocono Crest Road, Pocono Pines, PA 18350 or the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, 55 Rider Avenue, Ossining, NY 10510 would be appreciated.
