Patricia McGinty

Patricia C. McGinty (nee Mink), age 84, of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on August 13, 2020.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Mabel Mink (nee Robinson).

Patricia was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia, PA.   She had been employed as a Crossing Guard for the City of Philadelphia and retired in 1991.

Patricia was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas A. McGinty in 2017.   She is survived by her loving daughter Patricia "Tricia" Griffin (Lee) and her grandsons Aiden and Liam.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Thursday, August 20, 2020 10:00-10:50 AM at St. Dorothy Church, 4910 Township Line Road, Drexel Hill, PA, and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Pat to her grandsons' 4-H Program at MECCA 4-H (Maryland Educational & Creative Cooperative Allies 4-H), 9127 Throgmorton Road, Parkville, MD 21234.   The local 4-H club that the boys are members of work to embody the 4 tenants of the organization.  They use their heads to learn and apply positive decision making and problem solving, their hearts to empathize, their hands to create and their health to volunteer to better their community.

Due to the CDC Guidelines and the State of Pennsylvania, masks are to be worn when visiting the family, to the Funeral Mass and the Cemetery.
