Patricia M.D.

May 22, 1940 — July 18, 2017

Patricia A. Cilluffo, MD (nee Maishock), 77, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Dix Hills, NY and Estero, FL passed away on July 18, 2017.

Born in Ashland, PA in 1940, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Rose (nee Varano) Maishock.  From Ashland, Pat moved to Chitnango, New York, where she helped her father build their house.  The daughter of a coal miner and hairdresser, Patricia went on to earn her undergraduate degree from LeMoyne College in upstate New York and her M.D. from the Women's Medical College of Pennsylvania.  Becoming a medical doctor when most women didn't enter that field, Pat was a radiologist, working at several hospitals before founding her own very successful private practice.

She was the beloved wife of Anthony F. Cilluffo; loving mother of Jessica Clark (Barton) and Joseph A. Cilluffo (Gloria); devoted grandmother of William and Andrew Clark and Gianna Patricia, Anthony, and Joseph Cilluffo.

In her lifetime, Pat travelled to many wonderful places across the world, including Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England, Scotland, Ireland, Czechoslovakia, Turkey, Mexico, and the Caribbean.  She enjoyed gardening, drawing, and even some carpentry around the house, a skill she learned from her father.  For all her accomplishments and adventures, nothing gave her more joy and pride than her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 5:00-8:00 PM Monday, July 31, 2017 and 9:30-10:30 AM Tuesday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382.  Interment St. Agnes Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018, www.pdf.org.
