Patrick J. O'Dowd

Patrick J. O'Dowd, age 80, of Haverford, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Patrick J. and Loretta O'Dowd (née Albert). He graduated from Darby-Colwyn High School in 1962 before attending Widener University and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Patrick was the owner and CFO of Analytical Technology, Inc. until his retirement at the age of 77. He was a proud Irishman who cherished spending time with his family, golfing, and his interests in history, biographies, and old Westerns. He enjoyed summers and off-seasons at his home in Cape May, NJ. 

He is survived by his devoted wife of 24 years, Terri Lee O'Dowd; his children, Theresa Fiorella (Rob), Kevin O'Dowd Sr. (Amanda), Kimberley O'Dowd (Blake Gibson), and Jacquelyn O'Dowd; 12 grandchildren, Aurora, Jessica, Katlyn, Patrick, Paige, Kevin Jr., Madison, Vincent, Michaella, Michael, Lindsay, and Aden; 11 great-grandchildren; and also survived by his brother, Robert O'Dowd (Grace). 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Tuesday, October 15, from 7:00-9:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, (610) 353-6300. A funeral Mass will follow on Wednesday, October 16, at 11:00 AM at St. John Neumann Parish, 380 Highland Ln, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010. Patrick will be laid to rest at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064.
