Paul J. Dinsmore, age 73, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Drexel Hill and Havertown, PA, passed away on December 14, 2024.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late John and Katherine Dinsmore (née English).

Paul was a lifelong learner, educator, coach and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He started his career as a high school math and physics teacher, spent many years as a systems analyst, and concluded his career with pride as an adjunct professor at West Chester University. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University and a master’s degree from WCU in Applied Statistics. 

He spent over 10 years coaching girls’ softball, encouraging his daughter and her teammates to reach both their athletic and academic potential. He found joy spending time with family, watching Philly sports, and eating ice cream. 

Paul was the beloved husband of Debra P. Dinsmore (née Parfitt); loving father of Carolyn (Kevin) Applegate; adoring grandfather of Cecily and Colette Applegate.

Relatives and friends are invited to Paul’s Viewing 9:00-10:30 AM on Friday, December 20, 2024 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Rd., West Chester, PA 19382, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Private.
