Paul Dykhouse

Paul K. Dykhouse, age 74, of Aldan, PA, formerly of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on February 14, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Ward K. and Florence Dykhouse (nee Olden).



Paul was employed as a Police Officer at the Philadelphia Shipyard. He also had been employed at Walmart.



Paul was a member of the Upper Darby Fire Police Association and the Fraternal Order of Police. He enjoyed fishing, ship and car models and traveling. He loved Bethany Beach, DE. He also enjoyed movies, especially Westerns, Sci-Fi and Bruce Lee movies.



Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ellen Dykhouse (nee Barbeau), his daughters Beth Anne Dykhouse and Christa Ryan (Matthew), and his grandchildren Jacob Dykhouse and Madelyn Ryan. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Geri Leonard, Bernadette Verdi and Joan Ryan, his brothers-in-law Robert G. Barbeau, Jr. and James K. Barbeau and many nieces and nephews. Paul was pre-deceased by his brother, Roger Dykhouse,



Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Sunday, February 19, 2017 6:00-8:00 PM and Monday, February 20, 2017 9:00-10:45 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
