Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph W. and Katharine (nee Fuller) Hughes.
Paul was the beloved husband of the late Miriam Hughes (nee Supper). Loving father of Susan D'Amico (John) and Linda Robinson (Brad); Dear uncle of John Gale of Australia. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
