Paul M. O'Neill

Paul M. O’Neill, age 59, of Havertown, PA, passed away on February 17, 2025. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, he was the son of the late Michael J. and Doris (nee Brady) O’Neill.

Paul was the loving husband of Patricia (nee Brannan) O’Neill and caring brother of Kevin O’Neill (Patti), Karen Dougherty (Kevin), Donna Dougherty (Don), Nancy O’Neill, and Mary Karwoski (Paul). Also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and his cherished dog Keva.

Paul traversed the journey of life with a spirit that radiated loyalty and kindness, captivating all who had the privilege of knowing him. Paul's faith was an integral part of his existence, guiding him through the trials and triumphs of life. He exemplified a steadfast character — a loyal friend who was always there to extend a hand or lend an ear. His fun-loving nature sparked joy in myriad moments, while his creativity permeated his career path and hobbies; he was an artist and a carpenter, an avid fisherman, a passionate gardener, a music aficionado, and a culinary enthusiast who found delight in sharing meals with loved ones. Paul treasured the time spent with family and friends, crafting memories that will echo long after his departure.

Paul found solace in various favorite places, including the serene waters and shores of the coast, the vibrant atmosphere of Key West, the natural beauty of Costa Rica, and the comforting familiarity of home. Each moment spent in these beloved locales added to the rich tapestry of his life, a testament to his adventurous and loving spirit.

Family and friends are invited to Paul’s Visitation 6:30-8:30 PM on Friday, February 21, 2025 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, and 10:00-11:00 AM on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at St. Matthias, 128 Bryn Mawr Ave, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Interment West Laurel Hill, Bala Cynwyd, PA.
