Peter McEneaney, Sr.
February 7, 1933 — August 30, 2017
Peter N. McEneaney, Sr., age 84, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on August 30, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late James and May McEneaney (nee Nelson).
Peter was a graduate of St. Thomas More High School in Philadelphia. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War era. He was employed as a Telephone Systems Repairman with Bell Telephone/AT&T. He was a member of the McDonald's CRS Club for 35 years. His beloved St. Tommy More Alumni activities filled much of his time. He was also a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians #65-Joseph Montgomery Division, the Knights of Columbus De LaSalle Council and the Upper Darby Immigration Center. He loved being part of the St. Laurence Choir for almost 40 years and loved performing with the St. Andrew Players.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (nee Moran), his children Peter McEneaney, Jr., Patsy Fratanduono (Rick), Phyllis Saraceni (Tony), Paula Udinski (John), Peggi Peters, Paul McEneaney (Patty Dugan), Pam Brubaker (Drew), Laura Dougherty (Dennis) and Lisa Winkleblech (Jason). Also survived by his 32 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and his brother, Frank McEneaney (Sally). He was predeceased by his brothers Jim and Bob McEneaney (Mary) and his sisters Joann Martin Matzinger and Anna Kay Becker.
