Philip J. Corvo, Jr.

Philip (Phil) Joseph Corvo Jr., a beloved husband and father passed away peacefully at his home on October 9th, 2024, at the age of 70.

Born on November 11, 1953, in Trenton, New Jersey, Phil was the son of the late Phil and Betty Corvo (née Hall) and brother to the late Susan Corvo-Miller. A life long learner, Phil earned degrees from Pennsbury High School, Penn State, Temple, and West Chester Universities.

Phil enjoyed a rich 40-year career in sales, marketing, and research development, hopping across industries from laboratory equipment to plastics to recycling. His work took him around the globe, where he traveled extensively and managed operations in countries like Japan, India, Germany, and France. While at Bicron Corp, Phil was instrumental in developing a patented compact medical imager that could generate images from gamma radiation. Later in life, Phil turned his passions to public service, serving as Town Supervisor for West Goshen Township.

Beyond his professional life, Phil loved American history, the latest technology, and the Beatles. He was an early Apple enthusiast and Penn State football fan who enjoyed a good slice of New York-style pizza and sushi rolls. 

Above all, Phil’s greatest pride was his family. He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Addie Ritchie Corvo, and their three children, Brian, Julie, and Emily (Scott).

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Phil’s life on Wednesday, October 16th with a 10:00 - 11:00am Visitation, followed by his Memorial Service at 11:00am at the Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA. Interment Birmingham Lafayette cemetery.
