Phyllis A. (Anderson) Benscoter, 92, of Downingtown and formerly of Mohnton, PA passed away on January 19, 2014 at Tel Hai Retirement Community in Honey Brook, PA.
She was born in upstate New York in 1921, and lived there for most of her formative years. She was a graduate of Ithaca High School.
A devoted wife and mother, Phyllis relocated to Southeastern Pennsylvania with her husband, Robert B. Benscoter, who preceded her in death. They were married for nearly 70 years.
She was the loving mother of Robert A. Benscoter (Ramona) and Joanne M. Randell (John) and the late Judith L. Benscoter, D. O.; loving grandmother of Darren, Kyle, Jana and Carissa and 5 great-grandchildren.
Services and interment are private.
